“I had the Walleye and my companion had the Cod. The Walleye was great, and my companion said it was better than the cod, but the cod was very good. Made a sandwich plus had more left over. Fries and coleslaw were very good. Garden salad was very fresh! Yellow cake with Pineapple filling for dessert, yum! Full bar and slots rounded out our visit. St. Jacob's little hidden gem!”

“Great country diner/restaurant. Found our way to the lucky Rooster after visiting family. Hadn't been there in a while. The food was great. My wife chose a craft pizza, pictured within. I had the awesome spaghetti, great on a cold evening. The dining room was full but the waitress was efficient in taking care of us. Great evening with family and The Rooster helped make it happen.
